From: Teaching the role of mutation in evolution by means of a board game

The game board. It shows a phylogenetic tree to be constructed, with the parental DNA sequence ACAGATATA (center left, generation “P”) branching in two offsprings (in F1), then four (F2) and, finally, eight “descendant” sequences (F3). Also printed in the board are two special roulettes to “induce” copy errors (“Mutation Wheel”, left top, and “Position Wheel”, left bottom), an adapted, unconventional Genetic Code table (right top), and a score table (right bottom).
